Co-working Session Friday 5/29 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. CST
You’re invited to get stuff done with me at 9 a.m. CST this Friday morning.
Since stay-at-home started, writing has been hard. Really hard. Which surprised me, because I’ve been working from home going on five years now, and I’m an introvert. In reality, very little about my daily workflow changed, but turns out cutting out those tea dates with my critique partner, movies with friends, or seeing a client face-to-face brought my productivity to a stand-still. But then, last month I found a co-working group that helped me get back on track.
Virtual co-working has helped me focus, kept me accountable, and introduced me to new friends.
I think we’re going to be in some version of lock down for two years. (Why two years? I have a very weird and completely unlikely story about why. I’ll tell you all about it in next week’s normally scheduled author newsletter.) I know I can’t be the only one struggling to adjust, so I wanted to give you the opportunity to try a co-working group out.
You can work on anything you want. Your day job. Painting. Writing. Doing your taxes. Organizing your photo album. Sewing masks for people. Seriously, the time is yours.
Because co-working has helped me so much throughout the Pandemic, and I want everyone to have a chance to grow as a human (or artist, or seamstress, or writer) despite current social limitations, I’ve set up a community over on Patreon. Through Patreon, I’ll host co-working sessions a few times a month.
100% of the money raised from your Patreon subscriptions fund scholarships for my Group Authorpreneurship Coaching class. Patrons are also encouraged to nominate writers for the scholarships they help fund.
This Friday morning, May 29th, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. CST, please join me via Zoom to try out a co-working date.
We’ll chat until a quarter past, then work until the hour. Take another fifteen-minute break, and work until 11.
Just click on this link at 9 a.m. on Friday to join: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88041107706
I look forward to seeing you then.
