I appreciate how Jessica provides pragmatic, practical advice as well as affirming the lived, often times emotional experience of being a writer.
I’m a young writer feeling lost in the publishing world. I have love for my writing and what I have created, but the process of publishing has dismayed me. Jessica’s presentation gave me reassurance, hope, and understanding.
Very informative talk on the ins & outs & the level of persistence & perseverance needed to publish work traditionally.
What Jessica Conoley has to share is a crash course in how to get published. Her message is clear and entertaining. She takes you on her journey to published writer.
Jessica is organized, knowledgeable, and engaging. I learned a lot!
I loved hearing Jessica’s story of her journey into publishing. It was illuminating and empowering.
This presentation was incredibly insightful & engaging; it was a great glimpse into one writer’s experience in the industry.
Very knowledgeable and inspiring.
In my experience, people who present don’t often account for people with disabilities when structuring presentations. Jessica, in her structure of slides and then in that she offers to email self-explanatory slides, has presentations that account for universal design.
