Had a great catch up call with my agent after I got home from Dairy Hollow. Told her about the new project I started while at the writers colony & promised her I’d send her pages at the end of August. I’m back to public accountability via instagram reels to keep me on track for the deadline.
My compulsive learning has taught me sometimes, for neurodivergent brains, talking about something gives us a dopamine hit that can keep us from actually doing the thing. Therefore I’m not talking about the project with anybody except the human and cats who live in my house. Once I’m ready for beta readers I’ll share a bit more.
This week’s 7 cards is up. TBH I’m still feeling a bit… wonky since the live readings marathon last Saturday. I haven’t rewatched the reading yet, but I’m curious how it will resonate with me.
