I don’t even know how to try and promote this, because I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact I’ve actually been invited to do this.
Not all of my readers are writers, so let me try to explain.
Jane Friedman is the expert for the writing industry. She is the person all of the publishers, editors, and writers turn to for credible industry insights. She keeps tabs on the business of writing and keeps the entire industry informed.
I’ve been published on her blog multiple times (which was a huge author achievement unlock for me) and began pitching her to bring me on as a presenter a couple of years ago. This year I made it onto her calendar and it’s a really phenomenal opportunity.
It’s leveling up in the most important of ways, because Jane is giving me an opportunity to showcase my credibility and skills in front of her audience.
I’m grateful, excited, and a little bit dumbfounded.
If you have ever wanted to see me present, buy a ticket to this. Serious face.
If you’re a writer you’re going to learn something helpful and be entertained.
If you’re not a writer you’re going to be witnessing me in my zone of genius, leveling up in my dream career, and there is great satisfaction and inspiration in being part of that.
(The session’s recorded, so if you can’t make it live you can watch it afterwards.)

I’ll send out a proper marketing style post in the next newsletter, but I wanted to let you in on the behind-the-scenes for this one.
The only reason I was brave enough to pitch her is because you read my work and let me know what I do has value. You helped me get here. Thank you.
